The basic thrust of this article is on nakshatra gunas of all 9 planets and temperament. Every 9 planets in a birth chart transit in particular nakshatras. We should always look at the chart as a whole and not just at the guna or temperament of one nakshatra ( say Not Moon’s Nakshatra alone). People who have more planets in Deva Stars and Sattva Gunas in all 3 levels ( explained below) are mostly soft and kind hearted and can be taken as your loyal mate or best friend.
FIRST LEVEL ( PRIMARY LEVEL) : The First group of 9 Nakshatras that coincidence with the signs ARIES, TAURUS,GEMINI and CANCER represent RAJAS. guna The Second group of 9 Nakshatras that coincidence with LEO,VIRGO,LIBRA and SCORPIO represent TAMAS guna. The third group of 9 Nakshatras that coincidence with signs SAGITTARIUS,CAPRICORN,AQUARIUS and PISCES represent SATTVA gunas.
SECOND LEVEL ( SECONDARY LEVEL): Each 9 Nakshatras are divided in to 3 groups of 3 Nakshatras. In each group of 9 Nakshatras First 3 Nakshatras represent RAJAS guna. Second 3 Nakshatras represent TAMAS guna and Third 3 Nakshatras represent SATTVA guna
THIRD LEVEL(TERTIARY LEVEL) : Same as above. But First Nakshatra of each group represent RAJAS guna, the Second Nakshatra represent TAMAS guna and Third Nakshatra represent SATTVA
Example 1 : Suppose your Moon is in Ashwini – Temperament is Deva . On First level Ashwini represent RAJAS because it is in the range of Aries to Cancer.
In the Second level Ashwini represent again RAJAS because it is in the first group of 3 Nakshatras.
In the Tertiary level Ashwini represents again RAJAS because it is the first Nakshatra of the first group of 3 Nakshatras
Therefore Ashwini is RAJAS-RAJAS-RAJAS
Likewise we have to find out the gunas of other planets and the total score.
Example 2 : Suppose your Moon is in Revati -Temperament is Manushya. On First level Revati represent SATTVA because it is in the range of Sagittarius to Pisces.
In the Second level Revati represent again SATTVA because it is the last group of 3 Nakshatras
In the Third level Revati represent again SATTVA because it is the last Nakshatra in the last group of 3 Nakshatras
Therefore Revati is SATTVA-SATTVA-SATTVA
Likewise gunas of all planets to be ascertained and score to be given.
