Which system is most important in our body, Circulatory system, Respiratory system or Central Nervous System ??
Which Planet is most Important Sun or Mercury in Medical Astrology ??
We know that Electromagnetic radiation from Sun has a Particle Nature ( photons) and Wave Nature. Sun is actually sending most photons in the Green Portion of the Spectrum. Mercury refers colour Green . In Medical astrology Mercury represents Central Nervous system. All systems are important. It is a team effort. Still why Nervous System is considered most important system in the body ?? . Nerves are like steering wheel of a car. If car, however costly , with out steering wheel cannot move an inch. Nerves are connected to Spinal cord. Nerves send messages to everything from brain. If there was no nervous system, your heart would not be told to beat, your legs would not be told walk.,your lungs wouldnot be told to expand. Also messages will not reach brain either such as taste buds ( no taste )., Skin ( no feeling), eyes ( no sight) so on and so on. So even if all other parts of one’s body are completely functional, with out a working nervous system, the person is essential dead, if not to the world, but to himself.
You may think Circulatory system or Respiratory System is most important ! . It is possible today however to keep a person functionally alive for an extended period of time even though those are not working . Soon the technology will develop where artificial hearts and lungs will be able to keep a person essentially normal. But there will be no replacement for the central nervous system, atleast No with in any foreseeable time.!
That is why Mercury’s position is so important in one’s birth chat in Medical Astrology. In other words , the Central Nervous System is the most important system in the body, because it is what gives you consciousness.
