In physical science learning, we have only to judge of what the teacher says and take that up. The teacher may be of any character; he can still teach you any physical science. For the knowledge that the physical science require is simply intellectual and depends on intellectual strength. The teacher can have in such a case a gigantic intellectual power without the least development of his soul.

But to learn spiritual science ( Vedanta, Upanishad, Bhagvad Gita,Tantra, Jyothish, Vasstu, etc) the personality of a teacher is important . The teacher should have pure spiritual light in his/her soul. It does not depend on how much knowledge teacher has in spiritual sciences and philosophies

YOU CANNOT HAVE STRONG SELF REALISED MIND WITH OUT SACRIFICE IN LUXURIOUS SURROUNDING

You can love without sacrifice. But you cannot sacrifice without loving. The same is true for mind. You cannot be strong in mind with out sacrificing in some sort.  The planet Moon depicts mind. But do you know, where it is exalted?. While in exaltation it is doing a sacrifice.It is exalted in the sign of Venus ( luxurious surrounding) viz 3 degree Taurus which is the Krittika Nakshatra- whose lord is Sun. Sun is Atma( Self). Moon is Mind. So when Mind has realised the soul, whatever luxurious surrounding is given, it doesn’t care it. It need nor want nothing.

If you give up Annamaya Moha ( Craving for food) and do fasting or take only 1 or 2 meals a day, your progesterone reduces. Oxytocin increases. Oxytocin has direct influence on insulin. Higher the surge of Oxytocin in your  body, greater is your insulin sensitivity and better is the regulation of blood sugar control. Oxytocin will down regulates HPA axis , reduces cortisol levels, so you will become stress free , and it also reduces appetite. This is further helpful for fasting or 1 or 2 meals a day strategy.

We are taught to Concentrate, Contemplate and Meditate. We close our eyes to meditate. But mind is not steady. Then it is only contemplation. Mind can’t be steady if we directly try to control the mind. You have to control your intellect /inner senses and break the Ego (of Narrative World & Body-Samsara). Once this ego is gone, your mind will turn to Nirvana (Silence, Stillness)

We think what we think is thought, but it is not so. The mind is not what we think it is, the mind is what thinks. So the disgusting, shameful truth is that we don’t even know how to think. What is divinity can be learned from scriptures and religion. Even how to contemplate on it can be learned from books. But how to be divine and how to break and get rid of Maya is a struggling experience.
